Must Have

  • Demonstrated experience in managing building systems and advanced building engineering principles.
  • Valid Driver's License and ability to travel.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft software packages and databases.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and during emergencies.

Kforce has a client seeking a Director of Infrastructure in Hollywood, FL.

Summary

The Director of Infrastructure is responsible for overseeing the development and execution of a comprehensive facility management and grounds maintenance program across all organizational buildings and grounds assets. This role involves designing and implementing a forward-thinking management strategy that enhances operational efficiency and visibility, ensuring timely, proactive, and thorough responses to organizational needs.

Responsibilities

  • Establishing performance standards for all facilities and assets
  • Leading a complex department composed of a large staff with diverse skills and specialties
  • Administering and implementing vendor contracts and agreements related to building maintenance and repairs
  • Serving as the primary representative of the department and collaborating effectively with other departments to advance the department's mission while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and customer service

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Planning, Facilities Management, Construction, Engineering, or a related field
  • Preferred certifications: Facility Manager (CFM), Building Operator (BOC), or Facility Management Professional (FMP)
  • Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in facility management, construction administration, project management, and/or property management, including at least five (5) years in a management capacity
  • Equivalent combinations of education, experience, and training may be considered
  • Demonstrated experience in managing building systems and knowledge of advanced building engineering principles
  • Valid Driver's License and ability to travel to various organizational locations
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft software packages and databases
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be available during emergencies, including hurricanes, and serve as a critical employee in the Emergency Operations Center

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
